How to Enjoy a Family Ski Trip Without Skiing in South Korea

Can’t ski? Won’t ski? Winter’s here and snowy getaways don’t mean that your family has to be bored at home with nothing to do while everyone’s out hitting the slopes.

Many resorts offer multiple family-friendly activities that can be enjoyed during ski season. Get ready for endless hours of fun even without skiing!

1. Ride a gondola

Some of the best views can be seen from atop the mountains, and there’s more than a simple up-and-back ride to enjoy. Yongpyong Ski Resort, Phoenix Park, High1 Resort and Vivaldi Park all have gondolas.

Phoenix Park’s gondola course even features a restaurant called Mont Blanc at the top of its peak where your family can dine while enjoying the surroundings. And you’ll definitely need your camera for this!

2. Go snow sledding & tubing for deep snow

Hurtle down the slopes at top speeds in a snow sled! It doesn’t require any skill (perfect for your kids) and it’s always fun to race your family members too!  Also, try making snow angels and have snowball fights!
