If you are looking for a non-tourist destination but still want to learn about Korea and get some good pictures, Seosomun Historical Park is the best choice for you! Formerly Seosomun Neighborhood Park, the park’s name changed to Seosomun Historical Park after the renovation. It’s now a cultural complex that features a history museum as well as a park. You can learn about the history of Catholic martyrs through the museum and the mausoleum, which was built in 1984. As for the best spots for Instagram, Sky Square, a memorial hall to commemorate the martyrs, is great for photos and views as there’s no ceiling so that you can look up to the sky.
