2. Daeguro K-pop Festival 2018

Where: Duryu Baseball Park, Daegu

4. Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) 2018

Where: Busan Asiad Main Stadium (for Opening & Closing Ceremony)
| When: 20 – 28 October 2018

This year, the Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) will take place from October 20 to 28 in Busan, the second largest city of Korea. Consisted of K-Pop concerts, exhibitions, fan meetings and many more events, the BOF is a mega Hallyu event every K-Pop fan must attend.

The 2018 BOF Opening & Closing Ceremony, featuring a stellar line-up of K-pop artists, will take place at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on October 20 & October 28. These ceremonies are the must-see highlights if you want the ultimate K-Pop experience!

5. Busan Fireworks Festival 2018

Where: Busan Gwangalli Beach (between Hotel Aqua Palace & Homers Hotel)

October in Busan is filled with amazing festivals. Along with the BOF Festival, Busan Firework Festival is a must-see festival in Busan for October. It is the biggest firework festival not only in Korea but also in Asia. 6. Bongpyeong Buckwheat Festival

Where: Bongpyeong, Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province
When: 3, 5, 7 September 2018

Every year in early September, the Bongpyeong Buckwheat Festival offers a breathtaking sight of blooming white buckwheat flowers. Aside from the stunning blossoms, visitors can enjoy various local dishes made out of buckwheat, such as ‘muk (buckwheat jelly)’, ‘jeonbyeong (buckwheat pancake)’ and ‘makguksu (buckwheat noodles)’.

| How to go: For anyone hoping to go to the festival and explore the area, here’s a day tour that takes you to the Bongpyeong Buckwheat Flower Festival and Woljeongsa Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple nearby.

7. Jinju Namgang Yudeung (Lantern) Festival

Where: Jinju Namgang River Area, Jinju City

Every October, spectacular lantern displays at Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival attract thousands of visitors to the city of Jinju in the southern part of Korea. It is one of the largest lantern festivals in Korea that features impressive and creative lantern displays with various themes.

Festival-goers will have plenty of photo opportunities with over 1,000 beautiful lanterns and enjoy a fireworks show as well.
