Located in the Aewol district, the Arte Museum is the island’s largest and most acclaimed immersive media art museum. Housed in a repurposed speaker factory, the museum’s central theme of “Eternal Nature” is brought to life through 16 digital art exhibitions that blend cutting-edge technology with the beauty of nature. Each exhibition engages all the senses, combining high-resolution projections, dynamic soundscapes that include work by Grammy-winning engineers, and curated fragrances.
Signature exhibits include the Waterfall Atrium, which has mirrored walls and projections to create the illusion of infinite waterfalls, the Garden of Light, a space filled with interactive digital flowers, and the Live Sketchbook, where visitors’ drawings become part of a digital jungle scene.

Designed by Japanese architect and Pritzker Prize laureate Tadao Ando, Bonte Museum is celebrated for its harmonious blend of world-class architecture, traditional Korean craftsmanship, and contemporary art. “Bonte”, which means “original form”, reflects its mission to explore the fundamental beauty of human existence and the essence of Korean culture. The layout features traditional Jeju stone walls, flowing streams, and panoramic views of Mount Sanbangsan.
There are 4 galleries, each showcasing different exhibitions and art:
Gallery 1: Showcases Korean artifacts like “soban” (portable dining tables), “bojagi” (wrapping cloths), embroidery, woodwork, and lacquerware
Gallery 2: Features works by international contemporary masters like Salvador Dali, Yves Klein, Fernand Léger, and Nam June Paik. There is also a meditation room where visitors can pause and reflect
Gallery 3: Dedicated to a permanent exhibition of Yayoi Kusama, including her iconic pumpkin and the Infinity Mirrored Room- Gleaming Lights of the Souls
Gallery 4: Features traditional “sangyeo” (funeral biers) and “kkokdu” (funeral figurines) that preserve Korea’s unique ceremonial artistry

Don’t let the term “supermarket” fool you. Nohyung Supermarket is not your average grocery store; rather, it is a massive media theme park that provides a singular and captivating experience, built around the idea of a “journey of discovering one’s own identity in a space where the natural and unnatural coexist.”
Five main exhibitions create a magical and surreal atmosphere through the use of color, light, and sound. With interactive areas and numerous photo opportunities, each is designed to be entertaining for visitors of all ages. A large portion of the interior is designed in black and white, which contrasts sharply with the vibrant media art exhibits. Additionally, there is a Nohyung Dabang Cafe and General Store where you may buy distinctive items and savor drinks and pastries.

Water World Jeju is Korea’s first large-scale water‑themed media park, created inside a former sauna building by Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo. It combines shallow flowing water (around 20 cm deep) with large-scale projections, light, and sound in multiple immersive art zones, designed more for walking and sensory experiences than for swimming or water play.

Ivar Garden is one of Jeju’s top indoor cultural attractions, a state-of-the-art immersive media art exhibition space covering more than 10,000 square meters. There are eight different display zones in the hall, each with a different theme, such as Dreamy, Industrial, Mystery, and Party. Aviation enthusiasts, unite! Opened in 2014, the Jeju Aerospace Museum is the largest aerospace museum in Asia and one of Jeju’s premier destinations for both education and entertainment. It’s a place dedicated to the history and future of aviation, space exploration, and astronomy, making it a fun experience for visitors of all ages. If you love all things cute, you’ll have to check out the Teddy Bear Museum. Open since 2001, it is the first and largest teddy bear museum in Korea, dedicated entirely to showcasing the history, artistry, and global culture of teddy bears. The museum is separated into two main galleries: an art hall with teddy bear replicas of well-known artworks and pop culture scenarios, and a history hall with teddy bears used to depict historical events and cultural landmarks.
Every fifteen minutes, an Elvis Presley Bear performs at the Elvis Theater. You can even create your own personalized teddy bear with an additional charge. The most expensive teddy bear in the world, which is the Louis Vuitton Bear, and the tiniest teddy bear in the world, measuring just 9mm, are just some of the amusing highlights. Musee de Parfum is a distinctive perfume museum, often described as “Korea’s Grasse”, the famed French perfume capital.
