In North Jeju
Jeju City (‘Jeju-si’), the northern part of Jeju Island, is where you can find plenty of major sightseeing attractions, such as Mt. Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea, and Iho Tewoo Beach, a paradise for leisure sports.

1. Yongduam

Yongduam, the so-called Dragon Head Rock, is one of the popular tourist attractions in Jeju Island, which resembles a dragon head. You may sometimes witness ‘haenyeo’ (women divers) harvesting conch, abalone, and seashells around Yongduam.
2. Yongyeon Pond

Renowned for the beautiful natural scenery with emerald-colored water surrounded by cliffs, Yongyeon Pond is a must-visit (plus, it’s for free)!
It is even more beautiful when daylight fades and colorful lights lit on the bridge and the graceful gazebo. It is free of charge to walk around the place, but if you want to more fully experience the amazing scenery of Yongyeon Pond, you must do kayaking. Booking in advance is highly recommended if you want to try it during weekends.

3. Halla Arboretum

If you’re looking for a spot to relax in the shade or to take a stroll in idyllic surroundings, Halla Arboretum is the ideal place for you! The admission is free, but those who bring a car must pay the parking fee.

5. Mysterious Road
You must see for yourself why this road is called the Mysterious Road, also known as Dokkaebi Road. Connecting two major highways on Jeju Island, this is where you can witness optical illusions of objects like buses and balls roll up the hill instead of down.

In West Jeju

1. Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road

Sinchang windmill coastal road is one of the rewarding scenic drive routes in Jeju Island where you can see huge windmills along the way. Walking on foot is possible, but driving through this coastal road is highly recommended.

If you have a chance, stop by the fish sculpture called Dageumbari near the bridge that lights up at night.
2. O’sulloc Tea Museum
Add O’sulloc Tea Museum to your must-visit list! Not only you can learn about the Korean tea culture but also enjoy a cup of quality green tea. You can enter the museum for free, however, you might have to wait in a long queue during the high season.

In South Jeju
Seogwipo, the southern part of Jeju Island, is a cultural city, full of galleries, museums, and cafes. Many of the amazing natural landscapes of Jeju are found around this area, including the beautiful trio Cheonjiyeon, Cheonjeyeon, and Jeongbang waterfalls.
Filled with heavenly nature and the various cultures of Jeju, a visit to Seogwipo will provide you with an unforgettable experience!

2. Hwangwuji Haean

Hwangwuji Haean (Coast), located on the 7th course of Olle-gil (Olle Trail) in Seogwipo, is a hidden jewel of Jeju Island. With shallow and crystal clear water, it’s the perfect spot for snorkeling!
3. Soesokkak Estuary

Soesokkak Estuary is where the freshwater meets the ocean and broadens into the wide, slow-flowing river. Surrounded by cliffs of eye-catching lava formations that are overhung with pine trees, Seosokkak Estuary is one of the scenic spots you can appreciate for free!

2. Seopjikoji
