Where to Have Some Snowy Day Fun on the Sledding Slopes in Seoul

Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Seoul turns into a winter wonderland providing family fun for all and on the very top of that list is sledding! So bundle up and get ready for lots of fun!

There are several places to go sledding once the snow falls. One of the most popular places is Korean Children’s Center Snow Sledding Field right next to Children’s Grand Park.

If you’re looking for fun in the South of Seoul, then definitely check out Seoul Land Snow Sledding Park.

Located in Gwacheon, Gyeonggido, Seoul Land is filled with slopes, games, and fun to last you from morning to sunset. Here you’ll find two slopes: The general course that’s 120m (393 ft) and a children’s course that’s 50m (165 ft).

If you have youngsters, it’s recommended to ride the children’s course with an accompanying adult. If you want directions and details, click here!

You’ll need to purchase your Seoul Land Sledding Park ticket separately from the Seoul Land ticket.

Elementary and younger: 4,000 won

Another park that you can visit for a similar experience but with a different view would be near the famous Han River. At the Ttukseom Park Snow Slope, you can enjoy snow sledding while taking in the breathtaking view of the Han River in its full glory right beside you.

General Entry: 6,000 won

Age 3 and below: Free

The tickets to the park are relatively cheaper, priced at 6,000 won for general entry, and free entry for children under the age of 3. There are also amusements to enjoy such as a mini train, motor car, swings and folk games. You can even try experiences like fishing for smelt (a small, silvery-greenfish).

Instead of on snow, you’ll be sliding around on ice in a sled with a pair of wooden skis that resemble giant chopsticks!
