You’ll have to get here early to secure a seat, as there’s quite a long queue otherwise. maZe is a women-owned business with a cozy atmosphere that serves Japanese curry and sandwiches alongside house-roasted specialty coffee. It’s small, but the service is quick and efficient. Make sure you have the latte since it’s a signature menu dubbed as the “Best Latte in Osaka” according to many reviews.

As you walk down towards the cafe, you’ll find walls adorned with bright graffiti, making you instantly feel the positive vibes. Whether you need a coffee, snack, or gaming hit, this place has you covered! There’s a generous selection of drinks including craft beer, house-made desserts, and even a range of card and board games to play. It’s the perfect place to chill, socialize, and hang out!

With a rich history dating back to 1934, Marufuku is a popular coffee chain with multiple branches across Osaka. They serve rich, flavorful coffee that is brewed using a proprietary method, as well as their legendary fluffy pancakes, seasonal sweets, and old-fashioned hotcakes. The cafe gives old-fashioned, vintage train vibes with a retro ambiance, antique furnishing, and stained glass panels. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you’re inside (after all, it is almost 100 years old!).

Located in a quiet neighborhood and housed in an old traditional home, Cafe Arabiq combines three spaces: a cafe, a bookstore, and an art gallery. For coffee, they serve seasonal original coffee blends, coffee cocktails, and alcoholic beverages. The bookstore specializes in stocking mystery and fantasy novels, rare out-of-print editions, and new releases. The art gallery displays paintings and art pieces, as well as doll collections featuring both Western and Japanese dolls. You’ll feel like you’re in a vintage doll house. OSA COFFEE is a charming cafe, known for its unique travel-themed concept and cozy atmosphere. With its name derived from the three-letter code for the city of Osaka, the entire cafe is travel-themed with carry-on cases displayed outside, model airplanes inside, and various souvenirs like mugs and pouches with the city code printed on them.
Make sure you get the signature ice cream pudding! As a bonus, when you order coffee, you also get latte art with “OSA” written on it along with pictures of airplanes!

Cafe & Bar Farben is a cozy cafe and bar with great food and drinks offered at reasonable prices. There are seats available on both the first and third floors and the dimly lit store provides a calming atmosphere. It’s a great cafe to relax in and the signature menu is the croffles, which you can choose your own toppings for, as well as the pudding. If you want to stay longer and do some work or study, this is a great place since there are plenty of outlets to plug in your laptop or iPad.

You might be disappointed when you first arrive at this cafe. But don’t judge a book by its cover. Spiacafe may look quite dull and boring from the outside, but you’ll instantly be amazed by the all-white interior and enticing menu as soon as you step inside. Drinks range from mildly sweet to bitter and sweet, and there are delicious desserts like tiramisu, cheesecake, and chocolate cake. They even have a booklet on camera angle courses taught by professionals, so you can get the perfect Instagram photo. Make sure you bring plenty of cash as they don’t accept credit cards.
