The Erawan Museum is truly a magnificent example of great architecture and design. The colorful stained-glass ceiling, as well as the pastel pink walls and stairs, are the highlight of this museum. Nonetheless, this isn’t just some IG-worthy spot for taking photos. The three storeys of the museum pertain to the underworld, earth and Heaven according to the Hindu representation of the universe. The museum also showcases a vast collection of artefacts from across different eras.

Truly one of the most impressive temples you’ll ever have laid eyes upon, the Dragon Temple is a Buddhist temple located about 40 km from the Bangkok. At first glance, you might just think the pink building was under attack by a gigantic dragon. Nonetheless, the red-and-green dragon curling around the building is simply a sculpture, a magnificent one to say the least. What’s more, you can even climb up to the top of the tower – through the dragon!

4. King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk

Nicknamed the ‘Pixel Tower’, King Power Mahanakhon is a 314m-tall skyscraper located in the heart of Bangkok. The main attraction of this building lies on the 74th, 75th and 78th floors where the indoor and outdoor observation decks including one of the world’s largest glass tray floors are located. Ascend to the 74th in Thailand’s fastest elevator in just 50 seconds and take in the 360° panoramic views of the city that unfolds right below you. If you’re brave enough, go up to the 78th floor where the infamous King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk lies and attempt to walk across the glass tray floor!

5. Maeklong Railway Market

Maeklong Railway Market, one of the largest fresh seafood markets in Thailand, offers sights you couldn’t possibly see anywhere else. At first glance, it may seem like any other market in Thailand. However, whenever a train approaches, the market transforms to allow the train to pass. Shop fronts are pulled back from the railway tracks, only for them to be put back in place once the train has passed. This is quite a spectacular scene to witness and thus, Maeklong Railway Market has become quite a popular destination for many tourists.

Lumpini Park is a 142-acre urban located in the heart of Bangkok. It offers a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of Thailand’s capital. That’s why you’ll be able to spot all kinds of people there from the elderly practicing tai chi early in the morning to children playing around as well as 9-to-5ers taking an evening jog after work. Home to vast sunflower fields, it’s much different from its neighbour, Bangkok, with its tranquil, countryside vibes. Yet, have your cameras at the ready as it will provide you with the ultimate photo op! These giant yellow flowers are said to bloom around late November until January so, take note before you pay these beautiful sunflower fields a visit!
