Prepare your costume and candy – Halloween’s just around the corner! It’s the time when ghosts, zombies, witches, and all other things spooky appear.

Halloween in Korea has become a cultural event that is celebrated in certain areas, including theme parks.

Everland, the largest theme park in Korea, hosts Halloween festivals every year, and this year they offer 2 main festivals: “Happy Halloween” for kids and “Blood City Dark Xircus” for horror lovers.

Everything from the entrance sign to parade floats and trees is covered with carved pumpkins, smiling jack-o-lanterns, ghoulish ghosts, and gargoyles…

If there’s a place that takes their themes very seriously, it’s Everland. They’ve got something for thrill-seekers of all ages.

Blood City: Dark Xircus

Are you ready to get spooked?

For this year’s Halloween season, Everland theme park has unveiled its even more terrifying horror zone than last year called Blood City 2, and it is packed with various haunted rides and attractions.

If you head over to the Horror Village, you will feel like walking through one of your most horrific nightmares; the kind that you’ll be glad you woke up from.


1. Horror T-Express

T Express, the most popular ride in Everland, is now haunted. Try and ride the haunted version of T Express in the dark!

2. Horror Amazon Express

Watch out for zombie human hunters who are after you in the dark! There will be Zombie’s attack, the roar of the fallen demons, and the unimaginable fear.

3.  Horror Maze N/A this year due to the pandemic

By far the most terrifying and spine-chilling experience is the Horror Maze.

You pay 5,000 KRW to walk in the dark in groups of four to six and bump into many different types of ghosts and ghouls that’ll have you letting out blood-curdling screams, as you try and find your way out. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

4. Horror Safari N/A this year due to the pandemic

Also, Horror Safari is waiting for you. As your bus descends into the darkness, you’ll start to feel a sense of dread and want to head back, but zombies will chase you and try to terrorize your bus.

Will the bus be able to return without becoming torn apart or stranded? Most importantly, will YOU be able to return alive?

5. Crazy Zombie Hunt N/A this year due to the pandemic

Zombie Prison is another major attraction in a horror village haunted by cursed souls who tried over and over again to calm their souls but failed.

Enjoy the flash mob performance put on by shambling corpses in their gruesome, decaying states in the ruined ghost town.

6. Korean School Uniform 1 Day Rental → N/A

Everland, being the biggest theme park in Korea, it is the spot to go to for Korean students to have a fun and exciting time. How to get to Everland

Since the park is located outside of Seoul in Yongin City, it will be best for you to book a shuttle bus package that comes with a ticket and a shuttle bus ride. Departure and arrival locations include most of the main areas of Seoul/Suwon such as Hongik University, Myeongdong and Seoul Station.
