Prepare your costume and candy – Halloween’s just around the corner! It’s the time when ghosts, zombies, witches, and all other things spooky appear.

Halloween in Korea has become a cultural event that is celebrated in certain areas, including theme parks.

Everland, the largest theme park in Korea, hosts Halloween festivals every year, and this year the theme is “White Z – the Seed of Hope” for horror lovers, where brave citizens will have to safeguard Blood City from the zombies. Designed by the Production Designer of Squid Games, get ready to be scared to your bones.

Everything from the entrance sign to parade floats and trees is covered with carved pumpkins, smiling jack-o-lanterns, ghoulish ghosts, and gargoyles…

If there’s a place that takes their themes very seriously, it’s Everland. They’ve got something for thrill-seekers of all ages.

White Z – the Seed of Hope

For this year’s Halloween season, Everland theme park has unveiled its even more terrifying horror zone than last year and it is packed with various haunted rides and attractions.

If you happen to have your tickets from last year’s Express199, you’ll be able to get your hands on some cool LED space goggles.

1. T-Express 199

T Express, the most popular ride in Everland, is now haunted. Try and ride the haunted version of T Express in the dark!

2.  Horror Maze 

By far the most terrifying and spine-chilling experience is the Horror Maze.

For 10,000 KRW, walk into the dark in groups of four to six and bump into different types of ghosts and ghouls that’ll have you letting out blood-curdling screams, as you try and find your way out. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

3.  Thanksgiving Garden

Be surrounded by the beautiful orange flowers at the Thanksgiving Garden! You’ll get to see the garden covered with orange flowers and decorations ready for the autumn season.

4. Crazy City Performance & After Party

The Crazy City performance is another much-awaited event at Everland, especially the nolZa DJ after-party! Enjoy the festive atmosphere and get ready to party with a long lineup of DJs.

How to get to Everland

Since the park is located outside of Seoul in Yongin City, it will be best for you to book a shuttle bus package that comes with a ticket and a shuttle bus ride. Departure and arrival locations include most of the main areas of Seoul/Suwon such as Hongik University, Myeongdong, and Seoul Station.
