Located in Pocheon City, the Bears Town Ski Resort is an amazing destination for a day tour from Seoul. In winter, skiers can ski down the various slopes, and families can have some hot summer fun in the outdoor swimming pool as well. Besides, there’s an animal farm, a driving range, a children’s playground, and a zipline adventure to enjoy.

About the Slopes in Bears Town Ski Resort:


The Bears Town Ski Resort offers total 11 slopes, including 10 ski slopes and 1 sledding slope.

For Beginners: After taking a basic lesson, beginners can have fun at the Little Bear slope and Family slope.

For Intermediate Skiers: You will get to ski down various slopes, improve your skiing and snowboarding skills! Big Bear slope and Snow cat slope are suitable for intermediate skiers while Fantasia slope, Panorama slope, and Little Polar slope are better for upper-intermediate skiers.

For Advanced Skiers: Advanced skiers can enjoy skiing down at Champion slope and 88Challenge slope, which is officially approved by International Ski Federation (FIS). If you are an expert, try Big Polar slope with steep inclination!

For Snow Sledding: Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy the longest sledding slope in Korea!

About the Ski/ Snowboard Lessons:

If you are a first-time skier or snowboarder, we recommend you sign up for the ski/ snowboard lesson includes clothes rental. How to Get to Bears Town Ski Resort:


By Shuttle Bus: The Resort offers 5 shuttle bus lines to and from Seoul. For more details, please refer to the official site.

By Public Transportation: Subway Line 5 Gwangnaru Station → 5 minutes walk from Exit #3 to Gwangnaru Bus Stop (#05168) → Take bus #11 and get off at Bears Town Ski Resort Stop (#41384).

By Joining a Tour: It’s complicated to travel by public transportation as you will need to transfer several times. However, you can get to the resort conveniently by joining a tour that comes with different options, such as ski/snowboard package, ski/ snowboard + lift pass package, and free time package.
