2. Jinju Lantern Festival

The Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival, held annually in Jinju, is a vibrant and culturally significant event that lights up the city with thousands of colorful lanterns. 3. Seoul International Drama Awards

5. Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival

6. Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Festival

The 2025 Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Festival will be held from October 9th to October 12th in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. This annual event celebrates the rich heritage of the Namsadang performance troupe, which originated in Anseong during the Joseon dynasty and is recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The festival officially opens with a street parade and eve ceremony on October 8th, followed by multiple days of shows and interactive experiences. It features dynamic performances, including pungmul nori (folk music and dance), tightrope walking, acrobatics, masked dances, puppet shows, and parades.

7. Madly Medley

The Madly Medley music festival is a major new event in Korea’s festival scene, held on October 18 & 19, 2025 at Paradise City in Incheon. 9. Deoksugung Seokjojeon at Night

13. Gamaksan Flower & Star Festival
