Offering views of the Han River, Bean Brothers Coffee House Seoul is a wonderful spot to grab a window seat and zone out as you look out at the river. With two floors (the 7th floor functions as a coffee bar), it features a beautifully designed interior with stylish decor and high ceilings and has a rooftop filled with lush greenery and plants to provide a relaxing environment. It gets quite crowded past 3 p.m. and on weekends, so it is best to try to avoid these times.

Tucked away in a building, TYPE Hangang is a chill and not-too-crowded spot that offers fantastic river and skyline views of the Han River, Yeouido, and Bamsom Island. With a minimalistic interior that’s like a cozy house, it’s the ideal cafe to relax at while sipping a nice drink and enjoying the river views outside the large glass windows. They also take their coffee seriously, offering a menu with different coffee beans and qualities so you can choose your preferred blend.

Perched on the southern end of Yanghwa Bridge, Cafe Jinjungsung gives you big, open views of the Han River and city skyline, especially as the sun starts to drop. It is separated into two main areas: a tea house (north view) that serves traditional teas, including Korean green teas and matcha in a calm setting, and a coffee house (east view) that specializes in coffee and speedy service, making it perfect for takeout or short visits. The cafe receives up to 500 guests on weekends and an average of 300 on weekdays, so arrive early to get a seat.

Offering delicious treats and serving up stunning views, Blurr is a cafe with tall glass windows that provide views of the Yanghua Bridge, Parc. 1, and the National Assembly. There’s also a beautiful terrace for enjoying the weather on warm spring and breezy autumn days. The building also houses Daytona Records, an LP shop on the second floor, so you can head up after enjoying a drink to listen to some records. Make sure you try their Blur signature coffee and delicious canelés if you have a sweet tooth!

Occupying multiple floors, Check Grow is a book cafe where you can read books, study, journal, or just chill out. The whole building is a bookstore except for the 7th floor, which is a clinic, and the 5th floor, which is a restaurant. Each floor has its own theme, and all have a quiet ambiance except for the 8th floor, where they play loud music, and you can chat freely. You can also head up to the 8th and 9th floors for the best views right outside the huge window!
